A previous ULBC chief coach, Maurice remains a regular face around the club- whether that be on the water coaching, chairing committee meetings, or running the show at club dinners.

Maurice started at ULBC as boatman and a coach, before taking over as Chief Coach in 1994. He is the current GB Rowing Team resources manager, and previously has been the National Team lightweight head coach.
