On the 25th January, the ULBC squad raced at Quintin Head- the first full-squad race of the season, following numerous cancellations thus far. We boated three women’s eights and two men’s eights.

The women’s first and second eights won their categories, with the first taking the Championship pennant and the second the Senior pennant. The men also had great success, with the second eight claiming the Intermediate pennant and the first placing fourth amongst other top local crews.

In mid-February, UL crews took to home water once again to race Hammersmith head as preparation for WEHoRR and HoRR.

The women placed second and third in Championship eights, and the men second in championship eights and third in intermediate eights.
