On the 27th October Women’s Captain Jessie Martin raced the Wingfield Sculls, this year raced from UL to London RC.

Fresh off the back of a World Championship title and a new U23 world record in the 4-, Jessie took on the ‘Championship of the Thames’ for her first time, racing the likes of Imogen Grant (LW2x Olympic Champion) amongst other international scullers.

After a tough race out the blocks, Jessie showed a huge amount of grit and determination over the whole course, and finished 5th overall. This was the third year in a row ULBC has been represented in the Wingfield Sculls.
