The University of London is a federal University and is one of the oldest, largest and most diverse universities in the UK. The teaching is carried out by the 18 Colleges and Institutes that comprise the University. When studying with the University you belong to a particular College as well as The University Of London itself. This means a huge number of courses are on offer, and allows students to have access to a wide range of facilities and services.

The University Of London Boat Club is an Elite rowing programme with a long history of success. Attending any of the Colleges listed below makes you eligible to attempt selection to the Men’s or Women’s squads at The University Of London Boat Club.

Many of the Colleges also have their own boat clubs, which introduce many UL students to rowing for the first time.

Between the Colleges and Institutes there are over 120,000 students studying over 3,700 courses. Some of the colleges are World leading academic institutions but the great thing about The University Of London is there is a course available for almost everyone. For undergraduate applications you can put up to five UL colleges on your UCAS application.
