The UL Women added the Four’s Head title to their Pair’s Head title, as they continued their unbeaten season on the Tideway.
The Univeristy of London quadruple scull of Ally FRENCH (Birkbeck), Charlotte HODGKINS-BYRNE (Royal Holloway), Sara PARFETT (King’s College, London) and Robyn HART-WINKS (Univeristy College London) came home as the fastest women’s crew of the day, and also took the pennant for the IM1 W4x category.
PARFETT and HART-WINKS, who joined UL on post-grad courses this season, added the Four’s Head title to the Pair’s Head title they won last month, when they were once again the fastest women’s crew overall.
Friday night, before the Four’s Head, saw the ULBC Annual Dinner take place at Senate House. The event celebrated the club’s success at the Olympic and Paralympic Games this summer, the 2016 Senior & U23 World Championships, World Uni. Championships, Henley Royal and Henley Women’s Regattas and at all other events. A significant amount of money was also raised as the we look to purchase a new women’s eight to be named in memory of Ailish Sheehan, who tragically passed away this summer.
