This weekend the University Of London Boat Club (ULBC) travels north to Newcastle to compete at BUCS (British Universities & Colleges Sport) Head. In total 45 ULBC athletes have been selected for the event, representing 9 of the University of London’s colleges (King’s College London, University College London, Birkbeck, Goldsmiths, the Royal Veterinary College, Queen Mary, SOAS, the London School of Economics, Royal Holloway).

ULBC will be aiming to produce the fastest university 1st, 2nd and 3rd Eights at the event and continue to prove that the University Of London has one of the UK’s leading university rowing programmes, though Newcastle University racing on their home water will offer a tough challenge.
