The Allom Cup is an intercollegiate race organised by ULBC. This year’s race is on Sunday 30th of November at 9.00
The race is between all the University of London Collegiate boat clubs, it is raced on the ebb from ULBC to Mortlake Anglian and Alpha Boat Club, and on the flood in the opposite direction.

Clubs with doubling up issues please get in touch as soon as possible so that these can be accommodated in the race draw.
Please note that this year’s race will be run on EBB Tide. Depending on the volume of entries ULBC receives some crews may not be included in the draw, please ensure entries are made on time to avoid this. Every effort will be made to ensure that each club has at least one of their entries in each category.

ALL COXES MUST ATTEND A SAFETY BRIEF ON WEDNESDAY 26th NOVEMBER AT 6PM IN THE BOATHOUSE LOUNGE.
Captains must ensure that they only enter competent crews and that their crews are properly prepared for the race. Captains must ensure that their crews must follow the standards for safety set out on the British Rowing Guide to Good Practice in Rowing, and particularly the requirement at section 2.1 to wear personal floatation devices where competitors cannot demonstrate the ability to meet the swimming standard or there is a medical problem which presents a risk that the competitor may become unconscious or immobile. The weather in December can be wet and cold!
